How do Young People's Theatre auditions work?

 

​Performers are required to attend one of the audition days at anytime within the posted hours.  The audition itself should take no more than ten minutes.

 

All audition times are as follows:

Weekday (Monday through Friday) auditions are 5pm - 7pm

Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) auditions are 11am - 1pm

 

 

Audition Requirements:

​​"Kids" - Kindergarten - 5th Grade:

Show up with a smile, personality, and a song to sing. You can sing any song you'd like, and you can sing a capella, with a CD or iPod, or with sheet music​.

​​

"Tweens" - 4th Grade - 8th Grade:

You have the option of singing a song of your choosing.  You may sing a capella, with piano (if you provide sheet music), or with an iPod or CD.

"Teens" - 7th - 12th grade:

​You must prepare up to 32 measures of music to sing, and must come with piano music in the appropriate key. 

 

A participation fee is required for everyone who is cast.
